OLUJIMI ABRAHAM AKINDE

The National Coordinator of Global Youth Mentorship Initiative is a is a native of Abeokuta, Ogun State. He attended Salvation Army School and Ebenezer Grammar School both in Abeokuta for primary and Secondary Education respectively. He attended Obafemi University, Ile-Ife and graduated from the Chemical Engineering department in 1990. He was mainly involved with teaching in his career and a few years of experience as a Paint Chemist and as a sales Engineer.

He has over twenty-five years of experience in the teaching of Mathematics. He has worked as a Mathematics Teacher in various secondary schools both public and private and presently works as a Consultant Mathematics Teacher for private schools. He has developed various techniques for teaching the subject in a manner that it would be easy for students to understand and has knowledge of various techniques for achieving success in the teaching of Mathematics.

He is also much interested in helping in creating a clean and safe environment as well as creating jobs and generating wealth and has created a website (www.wastemanagementinitiative.com) to this effect. He is God-fearing and loves people of different beliefs and races. He is very much interested in the survival of Nigeria and Africa as a whole. He believes that development in any nation comes through adequate knowledge and application of Mathematics and Science and the fear of God

Trustee Global Youth Empowerment Initiative

ENGR. OLAYINKA AGBOOLA

Engr. Olayinka Adedotun Agboola was born in Lagos where he commenced and completed his educational pursuit at the primary and secondary school levels.

Due to his love for Engineering and the Sciences, he subsequently enrolled in the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering.. His quest for further studies subsequently took him to the University of Lagos where he obtained a master’s degree in Chemical Engineering.

He began his working career with an oil service company in Port Harcourt where he worked on some oil and gas field projects and rose to become the Head of the Project Engineering department of the company. With his desire to undertake new challenges, he subsequently worked in different capacities covering Capacity building, Strategic Planning, Research, Project Monitoring & Evaluation, etc. in the Petroleum industry. Consequently, he has pioneered the building of capacities of young Nigerians in relevant areas of the oil and gas industry as well as coordinated the execution of research programs sponsored by his organization in several Universities in the country.

His quest for knowledge and continuous personal development has made him undertake several Technical, Management/ Leadership courses within and outside the country. He is also a member of several professional associations amongst which are the following; Society of Petroleum Engineers, Nigerian Society of Engineers, American Institute of Chemical Engineers, Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN), Nigerian Environmental Society, Nigerian Association of Energy Economist

We are in need of volunteers who can contribute to the teaching of youths in Mathematics and the sciences, ICT, Enterpreneurship and Vocational courses.
